Draft IRS Form 3115 now available.

The best part about doing cost segregation is filling out the Form 3115!

But let's talk about it anyway.  The Form 3115 - Application for Change in Accounting Method is used for many reasons.  Remember, for cost segregation, much of the form is irrelevant.  We help you with it when you run an Echo project (actually, we do it all for you)

When the Tangible Property Regs were finalized last August, this form became very popular.  And, understandably, there was a lot of confusion and frustrationThis prompted the IRS to revisit the form's layout and instructions.  So here it is, in it's current draft state

DRAFT FORM 3115 - dated 7/28/15

Oh well, we'll still do it for you.
